MBA Program:
Full-time MBA:
Their Full-time MBA programme runs for 18 months, starting each September, and its content is comparable to a two-year programme in the United States or Europe.
There are three key stages to the Full-time MBA, introductory module, diploma stage and MBA stage. A summer internship also offers an extra opportunity to earn money, gain experience and earn credits towards the MBA - all at the same time.
Part-time MBA programmes:
They have a range of MBA programmes for busy global executives who want to achieve the MBA without putting their career on hold.
Manchester Global MBA
Manchester Business School's Global MBA replaces the former part-time Manchester Executive MBA.
The Manchester Global MBA has been developed to meet the needs of executives who are looking for a flexible learning programme. Participants benefit from one of the world's most rigorous MBAs, without taking a career break or committing to fixed weekly classes.
MBA for Construction Executives
The programme is designed to provide construction executives with the toolkit to move into senior management.
MBA for Engineering Business Managers
The MBA for Engineering Business Managers has been designed specifically for engineers who are already in a management position, or who would like to move their career towards general management.
MBA for Financial Managers and Finance Professionals
This programme has been developed to reflect today's global corporate environment, and is continuously revised in consultation with the finance and banking industry professional bodies.

Post Graduate Programs:
They offer the following types of research degree
• Degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD)
Three years (full-time); six years (part-time)
This degree incorporates compulsory Research Training, lasting for the first year for full-time students and first and second year for part-time students.
• Degree of Master of Philosophy (MPhil)
One year (full-time); two years (part-time)
This degree is a pure research degree - there are no taught courses required.
• DBA by distance learning
This programme is delivered through Manchester Business School Worldwide.

Faculty:
Their research students are part of a community of well over 200 academic and research staff and close to 300 postgraduate research students, with many of whom are from overseas.

Campus:

The Manchester Business School is situated less than a mile from the city centre, and is easily accessible by bus, car or on foot. The MBS campus comprises of four main buildings based around the Oxford Road area:
MBS West is situated on Booth Street West and is the main building of the MBS Campus. It houses the main hotel accommodation rooms, lecture and conference suites and resturant facilities. It is also the home of their MBA programme.
The MBS Harold Hankins building is home to many of their Research Centres, including the Manchester Institute of Innovation Research. It is also home to their AV suite, featuring video and audio recording and editing facilities.
Crawford House is situated opposite MBS East on Booth Street West and is linked via a pedestrian walkway. It is home to the Manchester Accounting and Finance Group (MAFG).

Cosmo Rodewald Concert Hall
This fantastic 350-seat venue, which is located within the newly refurbished Martin Harris building, hosts an extensive series of concerts throughout the academic year, including the major annual series given by the University's international string quartet-in-residence, Quatuor Danel.
Library:
Library services at Manchester Business School are provided by the John Rylands University Library (JRUL).The JRUL is one of the best resourced academic libraries in the country, providing access to over 4 million printed books, 41,000 electronic journal titles and half a million electronic books.
Both the Eddie Davies and Precinct libraries offer dedicated support to the teaching, learning and research activities of the Manchester Business School.
Ranking :
• The 2008 Financial Times survey ranks their MBA 4th in the UK, 10th in Europe and 22nd in the world.
• In the same FT survey their doctoral programme was rated as the best in the world.
• They continue to be a world leader in their commitment to teaching business in its international context, ranking 11th in the world, 9th in Europe and 2nd in the UK for international experience on the programme.
• The survey also shows that 95% of their MBA students were in employment three months after graduating, with MBS 10th in the world and 2nd in the UK for career progress.
